This might just be the most dangerous dessert I’ve ever made. If you have all these ingredients at hand, which isn’t at all hard given they are all pantry staples, this comes together in 5 minutes! Well, considering you have your mise-en-place ready to go (aka, you have your ingredients measured and handy).
It’s honestly the perfect dessert. The recipe makes one portion, so you can make it for yourself on a day where you need a little something, or for a group if you just adjust the measurements. It’s also cooked in basically a minute in the microwave, so it’s quick to satisfy your chocolate cravings.
Now, let’s get into the recipe.
INGREDIENTS (1 serving)
25g all purpose flour
25g sugar
16g unsweetened cocoa powder
52g milk
25g olive oil
Pinch of salt
26g chocolate chips (plus a couple more to add on top)
Serve as is or with ice cream
METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to a ramekin (or mug) and heat in the microwave on high power for 1 minute. The brownie should rise and still appear moist on top. If the brownie still looks dry, continue cooking in the microwave at 5-second intervals until cooked. Serve as is or with ice cream.
